The moment of the robbery

The Tirana police have arrested a robber as part of the "Break" operation, as he is accused of being the suspected perpetrator of the burglary of a mobile device and a sum of money, in a store in "Don Bosko".

Citizen KM, 35 years old, resident of Tirana, previously convicted of theft, was put in handcuffs. He is charged with the criminal offenses "Theft" and "Destruction of property".

According to official sources, the arrest of this citizen was made after it is suspected that on July 19, after breaking the glass of a shop on "Eshref Frashëri" street, he stole a mobile device and a sum of money.

As a result of the investigations and accumulated evidence, it has been found that the 35-year-old, during the last 2 weeks, mainly at night, has burglarized several different subjects.

After the investigations carried out and the evidence collected, it turned out that this citizen is the author of 7 events, more specifically:

*On 07.07.2022, on "Bajram Curri" boulevard, it is suspected that he broke into a business;

*On 08.07.2022, on "Ibrahim Rugova" street, it is suspected that, in a subject, he stole a mobile device owned by a BH citizen;

*On 13.07.2022, on "Myslym Shyri" street, it is suspected that, in a glasses shop, he stole several pairs of glasses;

*On 14.07.2022, on "Vaso Pasha" street, it is suspected that, in a business, after breaking the glass, he stole a sum of money;

*Yes, on 14.07.2022, it is suspected that, in a business, after breaking the glass, he stole some clothes;

*On 15.07.2022, in "Don Bosco", it is suspected that, in a business, after breaking the glass, he stole a sum of money;

*On 17.07.2022, on "Muzakket" street, it is suspected that, after breaking the glass, he attempted to steal from a business.

Following the actions, citizens AC, 33 years old, resident of Durrës, and EK, 21 years old, resident of Durrës, were prosecuted for the criminal offense of "False statement before the judicial police officer".

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further procedural actions.
