St. Andrew falls ill in prison, sent to hospital

Emiljano Shullazi, a well-known name of the criminal underworld in Albania, is reported to have been sick in prison cell.

Three days ago, Shullazi was transferred urgently, and with tight security measures from prison "313" to the prison hospital.

He was given the necessary examinations by doctors, and then escorted back to the prison premises.

Shullazi was arrested in 2016 for fines against well-known businessmen in the capital. But then he was charged with more serious charges, including involvement in the murder of businessman Vajdin Lamaj and his driver Artan Arsi.

Recently, SPAK accuses him as part of the metamorphosis dossier that together with Ervis Martin, Mariglen Hakaj and Satilijano Bashon, they have secured the conditions to kill Durim Bami.
