Two Albanian citizens have fallen into the hands of the Greek police after they were caught with over 9 kg of heroin in Thessaloniki.

The Greek police had provided information that citizen Erion Kasemi alias Gerald Kasemi , 36 years old from Kuçova , kept and stored quantities of heroin in the apartment of his sister-in-law, citizen Besjana Mile 24 years old, in Thessaloniki .

Yesterday, Kasemi was spotted leaving the 24-year-old's apartment and was detained. After a while, the young woman came out of the apartment herself, who was also stopped by the police.

A search was carried out in her apartment, where 18 packets of 9 kg 12 grams of heroin were found and seized inside a barrel and a plastic box.

During the inspection of Kasem's apartment on "Monastiriou" street no. 81, 2 electronic scales and 2 adhesive tapes for packaging were found and seized.

During the personal search of the two suspects, 2 mobile phones were found and seized. The control revealed that Erion Kasemi did not have the necessary documentation to stay in Greece.
