A total of 30 fires are active throughout the country, while the most critical situation is in Saranda, Delvina, Vlora and Poliçan.

The Civil Protection Agency says that in all these hearths there are currently firefighters working to extinguish or keep them under control.

Three waterboarding planes and four helicopters are currently engaged, while two helicopters from the United Arab Emirates are expected to arrive.

During the last few hours, 30 active fires have been identified in the following areas:

Vlora Region

Municipality of Finiq - The fire has passed to the village of Krane, Mesopotam administrative unit. This hearth is in front of the Blue Eye. In this area, the villages of Krane, Krongj and lower Leshnica are problematic. 3 firefighting vehicles with 12 MZSH Finiq officers are operating in the field, assisted by the FA with 4 firefighting vehicles and 30 FA officers, 1 FNSH group. The Air Force Helicopter of the FA also operated in this area, as well as 2 Greek PZL aircraft, 1 Czech helicopter and 1 Slovak.

Lezha County

Upper Malaj village, Mirdita Municipality – Isolated fire, monitored by 6 MZSH officers, 6 forest forces, 17 municipal forces, 2 volunteers.

Village of Kolsh, Lezhë Municipality – Fire in the forest area, 2 fire trucks in Lezhë and 1 from Mirdita.

Dibër County

Mount Allushi, Klos Municipality - The fire is under control, logs are burning inside the hearth. Work is being done by 6 MZSH officers and 1 firefighting vehicle.

Mount Kovashicë, Bulqiza Municipality – Vatra under monitoring by 2 fire engines with 7 MZSH officers.

Kabe village, Dibër Municipality.The fire is developing on an area with bushes, weeds, grasses and low vegetation, on the side of the village. 1 firefighting vehicle and 6 firefighters were engaged in the field.

Berat District

The fire continues in the municipality of Poliçan, outside the territory of the Mechanical Plant.
The fire has passed over the water supply, near a group of apartments and near the city at the Asylum for the Elderly. The situation has worsened in the village of Plirëz, Poliçan and residents are being evacuated. MZSH Poliçan 3 vehicles, 15 officers and 2 vehicles, 10 Berat officers, 60 army forces and police rapid intervention forces are working at the scene. The Air Force Helicopter is also supporting the situation.

Village of Rehovë, Poliçan Municipality - Fire near apartments, a 2-storey apartment caught fire. Evacuation is being carried out.

Backë village, Skrapar Municipality – Work is being done to avoid the danger to the apartments.

Tirana Region

Mount Bërzhita, Tirana Municipality, is being worked on extinguishing the fire.

Fshati Stërbeg, Bashkia Rrogozhinë –Forcave zjarrfikëse vendore u janë bashkuar edhe përforcime nga Peqini.

Fshati Okshtun, Bashkia Rrogozhinë –Zjarri në sipërfaqe me shkurre e ferra është vënë nën kontroll. Po punohet për shuarjen e plotë të vatrës.

Fshati Peqinaj, Bashkia Kavajë – Avioni Canadair kroat në operim.

Fshati Hajdaraj, Bashkia Kavajë – Drejt shuarjes, angazhuar 1 mjet dhe 7 forca.

Zona Arbanë, Bashkia Tiranë. Zjarri ka marrë përmasa, por aktualisht, në terren po veprojnë 20 forca zjarrfikëse me 6 mjete, të mbështetura nga 8 forca të APR-së, 8 forca të Policisë Bashkiake si dhe 5 forca të Policisë së Shtetit. Në këtë vatër zjarri ka shkuar edhe një helikopter Canadair kroat.

Qarku Durrës

Mali i Krujës, Bashkia Krujë, ku pati riaktivizim të zjarrit në pyll pishe, 15 forca operacionale dhe mbështetje nga policia gjatë aksionit për shuarjen e vatrës.

Fshati Barkanesh, Bashkia Krujë. Terreni vështirëson punën.

Qarku Gjirokastër

Rreziku nga zjarri ka kaluar në fshatin Lekël të Tepelenës, pa shkaktuar pasoja për banorët apo banesat e tyre.

Zjarri vijon të jetë aktiv në dy drejtime: poshtë fshatit, në drejtim të fshatit Hormovë, si dhe lart, në faqen e malit të Golikut.

Forcat zjarrfikëse dhe Forcat e Armatosura janë të angazhuara në terren dhe po punojnë me intensitet për izolimin e vatrës së zjarrit.

Qarku Elbasan

Pukë City – The situation under control. There are 2 firefighting vehicles and a police force in the field.

Village of Xath, Municipality of Fushë Arrëz. sister. The situation is difficult and the fire has taken on dimensions. Residents are being evacuated.

Kukes County

Gegaj village, Tropoja Municipality – No risk to housing. 7 MZSH forces, 15 forestry, 1 civil emergency, 18 municipal forces, police and 20 volunteers are engaged.
