New details have emerged from the file of the Albanian drug cartel that managed to influence the price of cocaine in Europe.

According to Euronews Albania, which has uncovered the file, this group is being investigated by SPAK, while wiretaps reveal the large sums of money being obtained, which amount to millions of euros.

Ardjan Çela, one of the people suspected by SPAK as part of the Albanian drug cartel, lived in Paraguay, from where extraordinary amounts of drugs were sent to EU countries.

"On 15.10.2020, at 01:57:25, Ervis Çela communicates with his brother living in Paraguay, Ardjan Çela, with whom he has a conversation that is suspected of being related to financial benefits from drug trafficking.

Ervis informs Ardjani that citizen Franc Gergely will deliver to Albania an amount that is suspected to be 1 million euros.

According to Ervis, Franci has not only paid off all his debts, but has also credited an amount of 2 million dollars. Ervis also informs his brother about the citizen Fadil Balla, whom he refers to as 'Jul' (Fadil Balla's previous name), that the latter has accumulated a very high financial liability that amounts to 7 million and 373 thousand euros.

This amount is suspected to be directly related to drug trafficking.

Given Fadil Balla's financial obligations, Ervis is very close to deciding to no longer supply Fadil with narcotics.

During the conversation, Ervis asks his brother if the amount of 20 million, which is suspected to be in dollars, is enough to administer in Paraguay.

The conversation obtained between the Çela brothers is:

"With the chance of spending 1M in Albania this weekend... He has all the money... He has 2M plus here... He is also sending money to Albania."

The file talks about frightening amounts of money being transferred. In one case, over 1 million euros were sent to Peqin.

"At 10:39:46, Albin Çela communicates with his brother Ervis Çela, who informs him that he has received an amount that he describes as '1,160', an amount that is suspected to be 1 million and 160 thousand euros, from his 'friend'."

'This friend brought 1,160. He had it in the middle of the road… He took it to TR.'

This amount is suspected to have been transported from Tirana to Peqin by citizen Denis Daja.

... Further, Ervis responds to his brother not to mark this amount as a payment to citizen Fadil Balla, whom he refers to as "Shijaksi".

11.21.3. At 11:08:36, Franc Gergely communicates with Ervis Çela, to whom he writes:

'What's up?… Morning… I, 150,000 € delivered today. Next week with another 1/1.2M…'
