The Himara Fire Service has managed, after three hours of searching, to find a couple of Israeli tourists, aged 22, with whom they had lost contact.
The couple was located in the Gjipe area and is currently being escorted by fire forces to a safe place.
They are in good health and have not required medical intervention.
This is another case that shows the importance of rapid response by emergency teams in the southern tourist areas, where every year thousands of vacationers visit the beaches and isolated canyons of Gjipe.
