Two minors, ages 16 and 17, were arrested by Vlora police with 10 doses of cocaine and a quantity of cannabis.

They were caught in the "Pavarësia" neighborhood and during a physical search, the 17-year-old was found to have cocaine doses in his bag and headphone holder, and cannabis in his pocket.

He was placed in handcuffs, while the 16-year-old is under investigation at large.

The investigative materials were referred to the Vlora Prosecutor's Office.

Police announcement:

They distributed cocaine and cannabis to teenagers, a 17-year-old was arrested and a 16-year-old was released on bail.

10 doses of cocaine and a quantity of cannabis were seized as material evidence.

In continuation of the work to prevent and crack down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics, the services of the "Eagle" Special Force, based on information provided about two teenagers who could be distributing narcotics, have carried out checks on the main axes and in several areas of the city.

As a result of these checks, yesterday evening, in the "Pavarësia" neighborhood in Vlora, two teenagers who were suspected of being drug distributors were detained and physically searched.

During the search of the 17-year-old citizen, 10 doses wrapped in plastic bags, suspected of being cocaine, were found in his bag (marsup) and in his headphone holder, while a suspected amount of cannabis, wrapped in aluminum foil, was found in his pocket.

At the conclusion of the procedural actions, the Narcotics Investigation specialists at the Vlora Police Department arrested 17-year-old DM in flagrante delicto, and proceeded to release the 16-year-old.

The procedural materials were referred to the Vlora Prosecutor's Office for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".
