Prime Minister Edi Rama has stressed that the government's support for agriculture will change, moving it towards a more fair and efficient system. He explained that while the oil sharing scheme has had problems, the government is working on a more advanced model, such as support for farmers.
"It is clear that what we have done is many times more than you give oil, and while of the money spent to give oil until yesterday, not all the beneficiaries were those who deserved it and used the oil for agricultural work, because the land allocation scheme was a scheme that had its own problems, because in many cases those who work the land are tenants," the prime minister emphasized.
Rama said that not all beneficiaries of this scheme were those who deserved it, adding that the EU does not even have this scheme.
"The EU does not have this scheme, we are moving towards the EU, we have been criticized, we have justified it with the idea of ??a certain phase. We will not provide support based on quantities that are an old 300 thousand lek, it goes to 7-8 thousand euros with the new scheme, in case the one who sells his production presents the invoice, directly the farmer. Present the invoice that you sell and get 10% of the invoice back and with that money if you want to buy oil, buy oil if you want, but there is no oil here. Those who talk are blind and evil", said Rama.
