BREAKING NEWS/ The Transparency Board changes the price of oil again, here's how much it will sell for!

The Transparency Board has set new oil prices.

Starting today at 4:00 PM, oil will be sold for 209 lek, a decrease of 8 lek.

Meanwhile, gasoline will be sold at 175 lek/liter.

Transparency Board Announcement:

The Transparency Board on April 11, 2026, at its next meeting, decided:

The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard shall be no more than 197 lek/liter, while the wholesale price shall be no more than 209 lek/liter.

The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 175 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 163 lek/liter.

The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, 11th at 4:00 PM and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.

We draw the attention of every operator of wholesale and retail sales of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision.

In case of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided.

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, are committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and preserving the principles of fair competition in the market.
