Belgian tourists stranded in Valbona are rescued

Two tourists from Belgium have been stranded on steep, snowy terrain in the "Valbona Pass" area, in the Albanian Alps.

The incident was reported around 2:00 PM, when the tourists, while exploring the area, were unable to continue their journey due to difficult terrain conditions.

After receiving the notification, the services of the Tropoja Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the Valbona search and rescue team, immediately organized the operation to find and assist them.

After several hours of searching on foot, the two tourists were located at a place called "Valbonës Pass" and were safely removed from the dangerous area.
