Accident on the Korça-Bilisht axis, three vehicles involved, police officer injured

A triple accident occurred on the Korça-Bilisht road, in the Belorta village area. 

According to experts, it is believed that the accident occurred as a result of a wrong move by one of the drivers of the vehicles with foreign license plates, causing a head-on collision with an SUV, and then a third vehicle was involved in the accident, which received a significant impact from behind.

As a result of the accident, one person was injured, who turned out to be a police officer from the Korça Local Police Directorate. The officer was wearing a uniform and was on his way to take his shift.

The injured man suffered serious injuries to various parts of his body and was rushed to the Korça hospital. Sources from the "white shirts" indicate that the officer is out of danger.

It should be noted that on the Korça-Bilisht road axis, a significant part of this axis lacks signage and lighting, and there are many areas that are considered black spots (intersections), where accidents with serious consequences for life have often occurred.
