The request of the DP is rejected, there is no invalidity of elections in Korça, Lezhë and Gjirokastra

The Complaints and Sanctions Commission has decided to reject the request of the Democratic Party to declare the May 22 elections in Korça, Lezhë and Gjirokastra invalid.

KAS notification:

With a majority of votes, KAS decided to dismiss the appeal request no. 42, of the PD-ASHM Coalition, for declaring invalid the elections held on May 11, 2025 in the electoral area of Korça district, as not based on law and evidence. Upholding the decision 1315/2025 of the State Election Commissioner "On the approval of the Summary Table of the Voting Result in the electoral area of Korça District, for the electoral subjects and candidates for deputies in the elections for the Assembly of May 11, 2025".

With a majority of votes, KAS decided to dismiss the appeal request no. 46, of the PD-ASHM Coalition, for declaring invalid the elections held on May 11, 2025 in the electoral area of Lezhë district, as not based on law and evidence. Upholding the decision 1313/2025 of the State Election Commissioner "On the approval of the Summary Table of the Voting Result in the electoral area of Lezhë District, for the electoral subjects and candidates for deputies in the elections for the Assembly of May 11, 2025".

With a majority of votes, KAS decided to dismiss the appeal request no. 40, of the PD-ASHM Coalition, for declaring invalid the elections held on May 11, 2025 in the electoral area of Gjirokastra district, as not based on law and evidence. Upholding the decision 1318/2025 of the State Election Commissioner "On the approval of the Summary Table of the Voting Result in the electoral area of Gjirokastra District, for the electoral subjects and candidates for deputies in the elections for the Assembly dated May 11, 2025".
