Prime Minister Edi Rama also spoke to commentators about the issue of water and electricity. Rama said that when he took power, only 4 areas had 24-hour water, while today there are 43 urban and 98 rural areas.  

"In 2025 we talk about many things and if you don't like us talking about water, I remind you that this is not related to us. Albania had 24-hour water in 2013 when we took office and had 4 areas, today there are 43 urban areas and 98 rural areas. There was water in 4 areas in the Albania that we inherited and I'll tell you one more thing, that even during the communist era Albania did not have water everywhere. Having a state, 24-hour water in its territory, is to make a separate state in terms of investments. We made a mistake, it would have been better if we had left it altogether, or we do very well to talk and talk about what we do. And in the meantime, you who say that these people are doing b-b-b after me, don't forget that the majority of the Albanian people are behind me, in my support and that of the Socialist Party. The people don't have time to waste at the crack of dawn picking up the phone and spouting such nonsense. "We are clear, 4 areas had 24-hour water supply," said Rama.

Regarding energy, Rama said that half of the population did not pay at all and this only changed with the coming of the Socialist Party to power.

Do you remember, or do you not? 50% of the population stole electricity and you know what the result was. Those who paid were those who voted for the SP.
