Dilaver Nelaj

The police of Tirana sent the protester Dilaver Nelaj to the prosecutor's office, who, as a sign of protest, threw yogurt and eggs at the Greek MEP Fredi Beleri.

Dilaver Nelaj is a well-known character in Tirana, for his special performances while protesting alone.

Even yesterday, as a sign of revolt against Beleri, a politician connected to the extremist circles of Greece and convicted three times by final decision, once by the court of Athens, Nelaj chose to express the revolt in his unique way.

He was detained today by the police, after the reaction of the Foreign Ministry of Greece, and will now face the charges while being investigated in a free state.

Tirana police announcement:

Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Station No. 2 referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Tirana, where the proceedings began in a free state for the citizen DN, 61 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Intimidation" and "Disturbance of public peace", foreseen from articles 84 and 274 of the Criminal Code.

This citizen, yesterday, in front of the Presidency of the Parliament of Albania, is suspected of having hit the citizen FB, with the duty of MEP, with food products.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
