The US Embassy in Tirana has reacted to the filling of vacancies in SPAK.

Through a message on social networks, the embassy emphasizes that it is closely following the process of selecting candidates to fill the three vacant positions.

Among other things, the USA confirms that it supports Albania in its fight against corruption.

Reaction of the US Embassy :

" The US Embassy is closely following the interviews and evaluations of the High Prosecution Council for prosecutor candidates applying for the last three vacancies in SPAK.

The United States expects that this crucial process will result in the selection of those most qualified prosecutors with the highest levels of courage, professionalism, integrity, and independence.

The United States remains committed to supporting Albania as it fights corruption, strengthens its institutions of justice, and upholds the rule of law. SPAK remains a critical part of this effort ", writes the US embassy in Tirana in a post on X.
