The TIBO platform has been fined 20 million old ALL by the Audiovisual Media Authority, due to the piracy of football matches in a total of 7 cases.

After an in-depth investigation by the AMA regarding the piracy of the "TIBO" company, it has emerged that this platform, repeatedly from October 21 to 22, has broadcast sports events from "Lega Serie A", although it was not authorized by "Tring" that holds the exclusive rights to broadcast and distribute this event throughout the Albanian territory.

Although book no. 97/2013 "On audiovisual media in the Republic of Albania" , clearly states that OSHMAs must broadcast programs, including cinematographic works, in accordance with the conditions and deadlines for which they have signed agreements with the rights holders of these works, this is ignored by TIBO, broadcasting the offending events.

This is not the first time that TIBO commits piracy, as previous investigations have shown, the elite championships of Europe, the matches of the Premier League, Bundesliga, French Championship, Italian Cup, have been pirated from this platform.

TIBO has been fined 4 times for piracy and yet in complete disregard of the law it has continued with the piracy of the TV channels of the Digitalb Platform, the piracy of the National Television TOP Channel, Top Nea and others, as well as the piracy of sports events bought exclusively by the company Digitalb.

Law number 97 of 2013 on Audiovisual Media in the Republic of Albania, this operator should have had his license revoked a long time ago for this repeated violation and extended over a long period of time of more than 6 months.

The law clearly states that in the event that a media service operator is fined three times by the AMA, its license must be reduced, while if violations continue, its license can be completely revoked up to confiscation of equipment.

According to the law, TIBO must be completely stripped of its license until the equipment carried by this operator is seized.
