New details have been revealed from the shocking event recorded last night in Shkodër, where 32-year-old Orjana Gremi threw her baby into the Kir river, just a few days after giving birth.

Sources indicate that the young woman has not shown any remorse for the serious act she committed and has testified that "I threw her into the river, that I could not hold her".

She was discharged from the hospital on January 4, while the baby was born on December 30. She had declared to her family members that she would throw the child into the river.

It is learned that Orjana Gremi is unmarried and lived with her uncle, while the paternity of the baby was not registered.

The baby was found this morning by the police, dead, covered with a blanket and plasma. The 32-year-old woman was put in handcuffs on the charge of murder.
