Prime Minister Edi Rama says that "Urban Renaissance 2.0" is not a "summer action" but will last for years.

"Urban Renaissance 2.0 is a program that will continue for 4 years and this process will be constant. It is not a summer action or attack. And those who say why couldn't you leave it for the winter, no we couldn't leave it for the winter. Not that we had tourists walking around, the issue of tourists is related to two or three other things that we will talk about in September, starting with a part of the industry that is not thinking strategically at all, but only 'grab what you can grab today', and is digging a hole for itself tomorrow, because the investments it is making will not pay off if it sets prices today that will quickly open the word that is very expensive in Albania. We will also talk about the beaches, when we have made a step this year, but insufficient. We will also take radical measures for the beaches, but shaking up the municipalities today is a necessity and for the local government to rise at another moment," Rama said.
