Kilometer-long queues return to Kapshtica, the Greek side with the same voice, works with reduced counters

Like every other year, mid-August brings thousands of immigrants living and working in neighboring countries back home.

In the last 5 days alone, more than 37,000 citizens have entered Albania from Greece through the Kapshtica border crossing point.

What is repeated once again this year is the lack of personnel and the work with reduced counters on the Greek side at the Krystallopigi border crossing point, while the queue of vehicles waiting to enter our country exceeds 2 km.

On the other hand, the Albanian side is working with maximum capacity to avoid long lines, while a higher number of entries and exits is expected in the coming days, taking into account the biggest celebration taking place in Korça, the Beer Festival.
