A 23-year-old Albanian man had gone to Switzerland as a tourist, but was caught in cocaine trafficking.

The young man had become part of a network of drug distributors, as during the search of the apartment, quantities of cocaine, thousands of francs and euros in cash, income from criminal activity, were discovered.

The Swiss police intervened immediately after the information provided in Bellizona, as they seized dozens of doses of narcotics, 1 thousand francs and hundreds of euros in the room as material evidence. He was arrested on Monday in Bellinzona on charges of violating the federal narcotics law.

According to the police and the public prosecutor's office, the young man is suspected of being involved in drug trafficking to local customers, the media informs.

He is also charged with money laundering and violating federal alien law. His arrest has already been confirmed by the judge responsible for the coercive measures.
