The 77-year-old man who was stabbed yesterday in Fier has passed away. The event took place in the village of Qënas in Fier, where father and son were injured with a knife after a momentary conflict. Citizens Haxhi Balla, 77 years old, and Aleks Balla, 53 years old, were injured.

It is learned that the cause of the quarrel was a fire that one of the families had started. The other neighboring family reacted because they were bothered by the smoke. That was enough to start the fight, also using the knife. The author Armando Boriçi has been arrested by the police.

Thanks to the quick and professional actions, it became possible to identify, catch and arrest the suspected perpetrator, citizen AB, 39 years old, resident of Qënas, who after a conflict for weak motives, stabbed citizens HB, 77 years old and AB, 53 years old (father and son).

Citizen AB has been escorted to the Fier Police Station for further action, while citizens HB and AB are in the regional hospital of Fier under the care of doctors", the police announced about the incident.
