The identity of the decomposed body that was found today inside an unfinished hotel in the center of Vlora, near the flag square, has been revealed.

It is learned that the body belongs to 50-year-old Gëzim Racaku. He has been missing since July 5 of this year, as he ran away from his house in the "Partizani" neighborhood, in the early hours of the morning, secretly, while he was asleep. The 50-year-old was reported missing to the Police two days later by his children.

Gëzim Racaku lived with his son and daughter since the day his wife left him 18 years ago. This sudden departure of the woman caused serious psychological consequences for Gezimi, who had been cured of depression for a long time. The son was the first to notice his father's absence. A gray T-shirt, black tracksuits and a pair of black slippers, which the 50-year-old was wearing when he left, are missing from the wardrobe.

During a television interview some time ago, his daughter, Zhaklina Racaku, said that this was not the first time that Gezimi ran away from the apartment. But, unfortunately, on July 5, it was the last time that Gëzim Racaku ran away from his home.
