Following the arrest a few days ago of Gjovalin Shkambi, the uncle of the perpetrator of the murder of Judge Elvis Shkambi, the family's reaction has also arrived.

In a public statement, the family members ask for understanding for the difficult emotional situation and call for respect for the legal process, distancing themselves from any form of violence or hate speech.

Gjovalin Shkambi threatened that there would be another murder in the judiciary if his nephew, Elvis Shkambi, who was left in prison along with his other uncle, Gjon Shkambi, was convicted.

Reaction :

Despite the fact that justice has not yet reached a final conclusion on this issue, we do not want to use hate speech against people performing their duties in any way and we respect the ongoing legal processes.

We are fully aware that threats cannot be justified under any circumstances, but we ask for understanding for the difficult emotional and psychological state our father was in at that moment.

We as family members fully understand the magnitude and sensitivity of this event, but we kindly ask that the media avoid involvement in our family life as much as possible, as our father was questioned and published at an extremely difficult time and in a serious psychological state.

We wish that justice and peace prevail, and that God does what is best for everyone!
