Another socialist mayor is under investigation by SPAK for election crimes. It is about the Mayor of Këlcyra, Klement Ndoni.

He is accused by some residents of Këlcyra of having offered them favors in exchange for voting for him in the May 14 local elections.

More specifically, it is about a 75-year-old man who has stated that the employees of the municipality offered him social assistance and employment for his unemployed son, in exchange for family votes for Ndoni.

According to the testimony of Agim Bakushllari, the episode happened in the offices of the Municipality just two days before the local elections.

On May 14, 2023, Klement Ndoni received the fourth mandate at the head of the Kilcyre Municipality. He was previously reported to the prosecutor's office with accusations of abuse of office, in some projects in the city or appointments in the public sector.
