
Ladja Porja Meteorology has recently provided details on the rainfall that has covered the country since the beginning of February.
She emphasizes that the weather will remain unstable almost throughout the month, while improvement is expected in the last week of February.
According to Porja, February will be characterized by relatively high temperatures for the season, but accompanied by frequent rain and thunderstorms.
She also warned that strong wind storms are expected tomorrow, mainly in coastal areas, which could cause problems in maritime traffic.
" We will remain in unstable atmospheric conditions. Today there has been a temporary improvement in the weather. Today's precipitation will not be in large quantities, tomorrow afternoon, that is, on Wednesday, there will be heavier precipitation."
Thursday and Friday will also be cloudy and rainy in the morning, with showers in the afternoon. The weekend is also expected to be unstable.
All days will be rainy, with Wednesday and Sunday being the most at risk.
Mainly Shkodra, Lezha, and Durrës will be the cities with high rain intensities, then the entire south, Vlora, Saranda, Gjirokastra, Permeti, Tepelena remain exposed to the downpours.
Tomorrow we will have strong wind storms mainly on the coast, causing problems for maritime traffic.
As for temperatures, they are relatively high, the minimum is 4 degrees and the maximum is 18-19 degrees Celsius.
"Precipitation is expected to continue until February 20th. We expect an improvement in the last week of February, which will be without precipitation ," Porja told Euronews Albania.
