Mitsotakis is coming to Albania today, stopping in Himare, Finiq and Dropull

Today, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is expected to return to Albania again, to stop in the south of the country, mainly Himare, Finiq and Dropull.

Mitsotakis arrives in Himare around 09:30 on Thursday morning. According to the agenda, there will be meetings with the citizens of the Greek minority in these areas as well as visits to the village school and church.

In some of these meetings, Mitsotakis is expected to be accompanied by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Mitsotakis had planned this visit since December 6, when the EU-Western Balkans Summit was also held, but the visit was cancelled. What was made public through an announcement on Twitter of the Greek embassy is that the visit has been postponed because the helicopter flight is not possible due to atmospheric conditions.
