Until now, it was suspected that Kreshnik Çerçizaj and Armand Organja were executed on Sunday evening in Athens due to the disruption of drug deals and that their assassination is also related to the assassination of Edmond Papas on Friday in Tirana.
But recently a new line of investigation has come to light. The Greek police have received information from a number of businessmen in the area, that Kreshnik Çerçizaj, who is suspected of being the target of the assassination, visited almost all the shops in the area every day to collect income, or as it is otherwise known, "fines".
What makes this information from a rumor to an element of the case file is that there are already people who wanted to report this knowledge to the authorities and thus the possibility that it was an execution by a rival network of fines who claim the area, takes on greater weight, without completely excluding the possibility of laundering accounts for drugs, also due to the criminal past of the victim.
It is considered certain by the authorities that in addition to the murderer, there were accomplices, such as a waiter, but also a person who would wait in an escape vehicle, since immediately after the crime, the perpetrator escaped by running through the crowd in panic.
What certainly worries the authorities is the perpetrator's choice to open fire in a bar full of people, completely disregarding the consequences.
