A house catches fire near the Buna bridge in Shkodër, a 60-year-old man

A huge fire engulfed a house in Shkodër this evening and as a result the 60-year-old Kapllan Nasufi died. 

Meanwhile, his wife, Naslie Nasufi, 59 years old, suffered multiple burns and was sent to the Trauma hospital in Tirana to receive more specialized medical help.

The apartment belongs to the Roma community and is located near the Buna bridge. 

The reasons for the fire are still unknown, while it was possible to put out the flames by the fire brigade. The investigative team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.

"Around 10:45 p.m., in the "Liria" neighborhood, Shkodër, a fire broke out in a private residence, and as a result, a 60-year-old KN citizen lost his life 

As a result of the fire, a 59-year-old SK citizen suffered multiple injuries, who is being sent to the Tirana Trauma Hospital.

The investigative group is working to clarify the causes of the fire," the police announced.
