A 31-year-old man, Klajdi Buza, was arrested after walking armed in the streets of the city of Kruja.

Full police statement:

Krujë/Finalized the coded police operation "Flagranca", as a result of continuous checks by the "Eagle" services, to combat illegalities.

The 31-year-old man was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs while driving in the streets of the city of Kruja, with a pistol in his vehicle.

A pistol firearm, with cartridges in the magazine, ready to fire, is seized.

The services of the Special Force "Shqiponja", as a result of intensive controls in every axis of the district, with the aim of preventing, identifying and attacking criminal activities, supported by information intelligence, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Flagranca", as a result of which the citizen was arrested in the act:

- KB, 31 years old, resident of Fushë Krujë, for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The Police Services, during the control exercised in the vehicle in which the 31-year-old man was driving, found and seized as material evidence, 1 firearm, a pistol, with cartridges in the slot, ready to be fired.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Krujë Judicial District Court, for further actions.
