Two young men from Tottenham have been convicted of the murder of Albanian man, Ervin Baraku, in a subway station.
According to British Transport Police, Kevin Nguyen, 21, and Milumo Pedrinho, also 21, were found guilty.
The shocking incident occurred on July 23, 2024, when Nguyen and Pedrinho were involved in a conflict with the victim, 33-year-old Ervin Baraku, on a street near the station.
The two young men followed Barak to the metro station, where Pedrinho stabbed him with a large knife. The incident was followed by a brutal chase, and Barak fell down the stairs after the attack.
He was rushed to the hospital, but a week later, on July 30, 2024, he died from his injuries.
Urgent investigations led to Nguyen's arrest on July 24, while Pedrinho was arrested a few days later.
Detective Superintendent Sam Blackburn called the attack "absolutely senseless and tragic" and stressed that "there is no place for violence on the rail network."
