Who is the new director of Vlora hospital?

A week after Lorena Arapaj's resignation, Mjaftesa Sulaj has been appointed head of Vlora Hospital today.

In 2025, Sulaj was a candidate for deputy in the Albanian Parliament, committed to public affairs and civic responsibility.

She completed her Bachelor's degree in Accounting in the USA in 2022.

In 2023, he completed his master's degree in the same field. In the following years, Sulaj pursued his studies in Accounting at the University of La Sapienza in Italy.

During her Master's studies, Sulaj was a lecturer at University College in the United States of America. It is also learned that she worked as an accountant and auditor in several companies in the US.

In addition to her contribution to teaching, Sulaj is the author and co-author of several scientific articles in the field of Accounting.

We recall that the director of the Vlora Regional Hospital, Lorena Arapaj, resigned from her position on Monday of last week, just 8 months after being at the head of this institution.
