New York Mayor Eric Adams welcomed dozens of Albanians to his office today, shortly before the start of the famous parade organized by "Albanian Roots" and attended by thousands of compatriots.

Adorned with national symbols, the colors of the flag, diverse traditional clothing, and the famous plis (qelesha) on their heads, hundreds of Albanians have begun to gather at "Central Park West 81st".

As every year, all measures have been guaranteed on the boulevard where thousands of Albanians will pass by singing and dancing, while participation is expected to be high today.
