Two brothers , Emiljan and Mikelian Filipi, have been arrested in Shkodra after being suspected of cultivating 400 narcotic plants in the village of Sheldi.

The Court had imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on the two brothers  .

The procedural materials have also been transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action.

Shkodra police announcement:

The "Sheldija" operation is being finalized to capture two wanted citizens, suspected of cultivating 400 narcotic plants.  The two brothers, against whom the Court had ordered the security measure "Arrest in prison", are being arrested.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, following an investigation conducted with proactive methods and in cooperation with the Prosecution, provided information and evidence for the suspected perpetrators of narcotic plants in the village of Sheldi.  Based on this evidence, the Court assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the two brothers.

As part of the police operation codenamed "Sheldija", the following were arrested and handcuffed:

EF, 28 years old and MF, 20 years old, residents of the village of Sheldi.

From the investigation and field operations, it results that EF and MF are suspected of being the perpetrators of the cultivation of 400 narcotic plants, discovered by the Police services during the national operation codenamed "Coordinates", on 29.04.2025, in the village of Sheldi. 

The procedural materials have been transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action.
