Two distributors of narcotics, who carried out criminal activity in night clubs in the Volga area, have been handcuffed by the Durrës police.

The Blues of the coastal city have arrested the citizens Arben Muça and Ervis Likmeta after they had information that the persons in question possessed cocaine-type narcotics.

During the operation, the police seized 216 grams of cocaine and several sums of money.

"Thanks to the information provided by the police intelligence, after a several-week investigation, the specialists for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic and Narcotics of DVP Durrës, in cooperation with the Operational Force of DVP Durrës, arrested in the act the citizen AM, 48 years old, resident in Tirana, EL , 46 years old, resident of Durrës.

After several weeks of investigative work, it turned out that the citizen EL sold to the citizen AM, the amount of narcotics divided into doses ready for sale.

Seized as material evidence were 216 grams of cocaine, divided into 416 doses ready for sale, 540 euros, 27,400 ALL, a cold weapon (knife), a vehicle and 4 mobile phones.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Durrës General Jurisdiction, for further actions," the police announced.
