A 28-year-old man, filmed by the security cameras of an apartment in Shkoza, as he enters to rob, has been identified and handcuffed by the police.

After entering the apartment located on "Theodhori Bej" street of the capital, the robber managed to get out of there with about 9100 euros, 2000 pounds, and gold accessories.

The young man with the initials EA was caught red-handed a few hours after the event, by the officers who found a significant amount of money and stolen jewelry.

"After the report received by a 42-year-old man, that a sum of money and valuables had been stolen from him in the apartment, the coded police operation "Shkoza" was organized and finalized.     

As a result of this operation, the citizen EA (Gj.), 28 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested for the criminal offense of "Theft", previously convicted for the same criminal activity.

Citizen Sh. was also criminally prosecuted. P., 49 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offense "Empropriation of money or goods derived from a criminal offense or criminal activity".

The citizen EA (Gj.), allegedly stole from an apartment on "Theodhori Bej" street, about 9100 euros, 2000 pounds, and valuables (gold accessories), and then with a part of the money stolen bought a mobile phone in the store of citizen Sh. P.

During the physical check of the 28-year-old arrested, the Police found and seized, as material evidence, 7,500 euros, 1,138 pounds, and valuables (gold accessories), which this citizen stole from the 42-year-old's apartment.

We are working on the complete legal documentation of the events allegedly committed by the arrested 28-year-old , the police announced.
