Ton Daans, former adviser to Justice Minister Etilda Gjonaj on re-education systems, wrote an open letter to Prime Minister Edi Rama on Tuesday.

According to him, the medical treatment at the Trauma Hospital was a hell for him, due to poor conditions and poor infrastructure.

Today came the reaction of the Trauma Hospital.

"Antonius Daans left with his companion in the early hours of April 17 and thanked the staff for the treatment. "Later, the Dutch citizen says that the Trauma Hospital has returned to a very good general condition, without any complaints, referring to the fact that he had to travel by plane", the University Trauma Hospital emphasizes, among other things.

Clarification of the University Trauma Hospital in the case of the citizen Mr. Antonius Daans:

Referring to the publication in some portals of the case of a citizen with Dutch citizenship, presented at the University Trauma Hospital on April 16, 2022, we clarify as follows:

Z. Daans ka ardhur në urgjencën e Spitalit Universitar të Traumës në orën 23:30 të datës 16.04.2022, i shoqëruar dhe me përkthyes. Sipas vlerësimit të parë, gjendja e përgjithshme ishte e mirë. Pacienti referonte rrëzim në trotuar dhe ankohej për dhimbje të krahut dhe lëndim në fytyrë.

Sipas vlerësimit të mjekëve, pacienti paraqiste plagë sipërfaqësore rreth 4 cm në regionin frontal, gërvishtje të vogël në hundë dhe dhimbje gjatë lëvizjes së krahut të djathtë.

Pasi i janë bërë ekzaminimet radiografike të kokës, hundës dhe krahut, ka rezultuar vetëm dëmtim i kokës së radiusit (brrylit) që është trajtuar në mënyrë konservative, me imobilizim me gips, mbajtja e të cilit është rekomanduar për 3 javë, e më pas fizioterapi.

Janë përpunuar plagët nga Kirurgu i Përgjithshëm, Dr. Dritan Çobani, duke përdorur instrumenta dhe set mjekimi emergjence të standardizuar njëpërdorimësh, me barkode të ruajtura sipas rregullit, sete të cilat përdoren në të gjitha spitalet, sipas standardeve më të mira.

Pacientit në fjalë i është aplikuar gjithashtu serumi antitetanik.

Gjithashtu, është realizuar konsulta nga neurokirurgu Dr. Asllan Sela, nga e cila ka rezultuar pa probleme neurologjike apo neurokirurgjikale.

Pacienti është larguar bashkë me shoqëruesin në orët e para të datës 17.04.2022.

Mjekët dhe personeli referojnë se pacienti është larguar falenderues për shërbimin e marrë.

Dr. Asllan Sela, neurosurgeon, re-examined and provided him with a certificate with medical records, diagnosis and that he could travel without problems, a certificate which was printed and submitted to the applicant.

The medical staff of the University Trauma Hospital has strictly followed the medical protocols for the Dutch citizen and assures all Albanian and foreign citizens that service to them will not be lacking at any time and that the team of doctors and nurses will continue to be in head of service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to do the best for the health of citizens.
