The two residents of Bërzulla who protested today amid calls for justice from where they then threatened to jump from the tension poles, have been neutralized and after a few minutes with the help of the fire engine, they have come down.

 After climbing down from the high voltage pole, the young man met his father, who made him halal for protecting his property with blood.

The residents of Bëxulla have taken their protest beyond the village calling for justice from the doors of the institutions. The protest has escalated as two of them, a lady and her grandson have threatened to jump from the tension poles and sacrifice themselves if they do not receive an answer from the institutions.

The situation worsened with the intervention of the police who were present at the place where the protest was taking place. Although they have been protesting for more than 90 days, no leftist or rightist MP has come to support the residents of Bëxulli, so they declare that they will boycott the local elections. 

The residents of Bërxulli have already decided that they will not participate in the May 14 elections, while they are determined that they will not let their land go without being compensated at the market price.

Until now, there has been no reaction from the institutions, even after the act of self-sacrifice of two residents of Bëxulla.

The silence and indifference of the state institutions regarding the illegal works being carried out by the Gener 2 firm, where 30 hectares of land are affected and 20 houses are demolished, the residents have responded with protests for weeks now.
