Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço from Top Story studio spoke about the election of the head of the National Bureau of Investigation.
He said that there is a clash and leadership problem between SPAK and BKH, while emphasizing that they wanted to remove BKH director Aida Hajnaj from office.
"The candidates have passed the first phase, having been selected according to the criteria according to the law. They will have to undergo physical tests, then psychological and financial tests. They have been formal until now, we have data that for some the physical tests were not taken into account. What happened? We have a big problem with the BKH. It was an American idea to establish a homologous institution like the FBI in Albania.
It is not the National Bureau of Investigation, but the State Bureau of Investigation. What are these? OPGJ? What additional competence do they have that we call investigators. These elements have been clashes between the leaders of the BKH and SPAK.
There is a leadership problem, a problem of coexistence. They have wanted to remove Mrs. Hajnaj from office three times. Why didn't they want her? The quarrels, the internal clashes are not conceptual and principled, they are concrete. Who are you? You are a prosecutor today. Why would you leave your tail behind? I want the head of the BKH to be a prominent person and known by the public. Who are these? Unknown people. I don't know most of them, they must be prominent. Now I understand who they are and what roles they have", he said.
