Ibrahim Lici has not been arrested in Turkey, but his base has been discovered through a girl who is believed to be his girlfriend. Journalist Elton Qyno writes for OraNews that the girl was followed by two FAST agents, who on October 19, 2022, together with the Turkish police, searched the apartment where she was staying.

However, Lici was not found in this house and therefore the arrest warrant was not executed for the much-wanted man. Qyno further adds in the article that Lici traveled to Turkey through Kosovo, using an airline and the trip was made using his Albanian passport.

On this trip, he used his Albanian passport, issued on May 12, 2021 in Shkodër, as this is proven by the verification he performed at Istanbul airport. Ibrahim Lici continues to remain free in the territory of the Turkish state, while the justice of this state requested legal assistance from the Albanian side to make available the investigative acts of the criminal file that talks about the murder of Endri Mustafa.

The letter through which information and investigative materials in charge of Ibrahim Lici is requested by the Turkish Justice has arrived in Shkodër, on Monday, April 24, 2022.
