Some time ago, the Police of Gjirokastra arrested the citizen Ardian Kola, known to the public as Dj Cherry, after he was accused of transporting illegal immigrants.
Dj Cherry in an interview for JOQ has shown how the truth is about this news that caused a stir everywhere in the media but also about the accusations against him, while showing the whole ordeal of the night when he was stopped by the Gjirokastra Police while he was in the car with his son.
According to him, in the confession made, it all happened after a debate with an officer of the Order Police. DJ says that after this event and the accusations that have nothing to do with him, he has decided to leave Albania with his family.
I ran away from Tirana-Gjirokastër in handcuffs. According to the police, I have been with immigrants. The police found that they had nothing to do with me, the Prosecutor's Office wants prison. 7 years in prison seems to me. Now I'm stuck at home. It is shameful, I have decided to leave this country. I'm just waiting for the Court's decision. Jokes aside, God help me that I shot with an accurate referee, because otherwise here...,"- he said in his interview.
The 38-year-old was arrested after he was suspected of being the author of providing assistance to foreign citizens for illegal border crossing, against profit. According to official sources, on June 19, at the place called "River Bridge", Kola did not obey the order of the Police officers to stop the vehicle. He continued to move quickly and then abandoned the vehicle with which he was allegedly transporting 5 illegal immigrants from the MENA countries, towards Tirana, against profit.
