The State Police reacted after the attack with 1 dead and 1 injured in Milot.

"In the city of Milot, in the grounds of a building, around 9:00 p.m., shots were fired at the off-road vehicle "Land Chrysler", inside which were citizens KP, 28 years old, and YB, 46 years old, residents of Kurbin, who were sent to the Trauma Hospital, in Tirana. The KP citizen has passed away. Numerous police forces and the investigative team immediately went to the scene. Also, from the police forces of the Kurbin and Lezhë Police Stations, with support from groups of FNSH Shkodër, combing the area is being done and checkpoints have been set up, with the aim of catching the author/s.

Checkpoints have been set up on the National Road, in the direction of Mati, Lezha, Tirana and Kruja. In Gramëz village, Krujë district, a vehicle was found burning, which is suspected to be the vehicle used by the perpetrator(s) to commit this criminal event. From the preliminary examination, 2 Kalashnikov firearms were found inside it.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Kurbin Judicial District, continues the investigative actions, administering every evidence, film footage, information and testimony, for the full disclosure of the circumstances of the event," the police announced.
