Lezha was shocked today by a gun attack that left a 42-year-old man dead, a member of the Lekstakaj tribe, in a feud with the Nikulaj tribe.

Nikolin Marku (Lekstakaj) was executed with a Kalashnikov volley as soon as he left the door of a market in Balldre, Lezha. He had only recently returned from emigration.

The serious event comes just one day after the visit of the new Minister of the Interior in Lezhë, Taulant Balla, who asked the blues of the city not to tolerate in the fight against organized crime.

Even according to the director of the local police of Lezha, Alfred Elezi, the event is suspected to have happened for revenge or blood feud.

"Today around 18:30 we received the notification that I made to Nikolin Marku Lestakaljt. An investigative team has been set up by the police services, and in full coordination with the prosecution, they are working on the case and identifying the perpetrator. We are still investigating. We suspect revenge or blood feud", he declared.
