A 75-year-old man was found dead today in the waters of the Devoll river.

The victim, identified as a citizen with the initials QZ, was reported missing two days ago by his son, a citizen with the initials LZ

No signs of violence were found on the old man's body, and it is initially suspected that death was a result of drowning.

Police notification:

On 19.07.2023, in the village of Pishaj, on the bed of the river Devoll, citizen QZ, 75 years old, resident of Gramsh, was found dead, who is suspected to have drowned in the river.

From the preliminary examination of the body of the 75-year-old, no signs of violence were found.

For this citizen, on 17.07.2023, his son, citizen LZ, 43 years old, filed a police report, where he stated that his father left the apartment and never returned.

The investigation group is working on the complete documentation of the circumstances of the event.
