A 13-year-old was found dead today in Babrru, Tirana. According to the police report, the minor was found without signs of life by his family inside the car in the garage of the house.

It is initially suspected that the cause of death was asphyxiation. It is known that next to the house, the child's father has a car service.

At the time of the tragic event, he was working on removing the car's battery. There was also a broken down car in the garage. This adds to the suspicion that the serious event was caused by chemicals, perhaps even some reaction caused by the battery.

Police say investigators are working to determine the cause of the minor's death.

"On 19.07.2023, in Babrru, a 13-year-old minor citizen was found by family members, inside the vehicle in the garage of the apartment, without signs of life. "Preliminarily, it is suspected that the death was caused by asphyxia," the police announced.
