Nikolin Marku (Lekstakaj) is the victim of an assassination attempt today around 18:30 in Balldre, Lezha.
The 42-year-old was executed at the door of a market in Balldre, just after he had bought a soft drink. The moment he went to the door of the market, still unidentified persons, suspected to be two persons, shot him with a firearm, leaving him dead on the spot.
The perpetrators quickly left the scene in a car. They were masked as one shot a firearm at the 42-year-old while the other stayed behind the wheel of the car.
The main suspicions are the murder due to blood feud, since the Lekstakaj tribe has been at enmity with the Nikulaj tribe since 1996.
Ardian Nikulaj was executed in April of this year in his bar in Lezhë. The police discovered that the organizer, orderer and financier was Edmond Haxhia, a relative of the Lekstakaj family. He paid three Britons and a Portuguese to carry out the assassination.
While the 42-year-old executed today, Nikolin Marku (Lekstakaj), is the sixth victim of blood feud between two tribes.
