The attack on Ines Hajrulla, the Court of Vlora sentences the "Çam

The black squads of Vlora have sentenced the five members of the "Çam Group" who assassinated Ines Hajrulla, the son of the Vlonian businessman Robert Hajrulla, to a total of 150 years in prison.

Three years after the event, the file was sent to court and the decision was made today.

The jury composed of Pëllumb Zaimj, Entela Gjoni and Adelajda Gjyzi sentenced, respectively:

Daut Elmazin - 35 years in prison - Guilty for the charge of "Murder under qualifying circumstances" committed in collaboration, remaining pending;
Gentjan Dautaj (Zoto) - 35 years in prison - Guilty for the charge of "Murder under qualifying circumstances", committed in cooperation with the attempt and illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition;
Igli Memaj (Suloti) - 30 years in prison - Guilty for the charge of "Murder in qualifying circumstances" committed in cooperation, remaining in the attempt;
Serxhio Ademi (Cima) - 25 years in prison - Guilty for the charge of "Murder under qualifying circumstances" committed in cooperation, remaining in the attempt;
Albano Goxhaj - 25 years in prison - Guilty for the charge of "Murder in qualifying circumstances" committed in cooperation, remaining in the attempt.
Through the interceptions carried out by the prosecutor's office of Vlora, the control of the apartments and the questioning of various persons, it became possible to identify and arrest Daut Elmaz, Igli Memaj, Gentjan Dautaj, Albano Goxhaj and Serxhio Ademi. Meanwhile, Fatmir Hyseni continues to be wanted for this event, whose trial is suspended.

How Ines Hajrulla and his friends escaped the assassination attempt, May 10, 2019 - Lungomare, Vlora

According to the claim of the 5th Vlora Prosecutor's Office, these people together with Fatmir Hysenin or (Doqja), on May 10, 2019, wanted to kill Ines Hajrulla, Ervis Matodashaj and Arbër Shollaj.

These people and a group of other boys were staying in the premises of a bar on the "Lungomare" promenade, when they were suddenly attacked with weapons. As a result of the shooting, an employee of the Vlora Municipality, Dajko Canodemaj, was slightly wounded in the leg.

The investigation carried out by the prosecutor Alfred Sali found that the perpetrator of the attack had his automatic weapon blocked, not having the opportunity to shoot, but returned to the "Land Rover" type car that the group had stolen in Vlora to then use in this criminal event.

In pursuit of the vehicle and the persons in it, the services of the General Patrol were deployed, which for a part of the road had visual contact with the black "Land Rover" brand vehicle. This vehicle moved in the direction of the village of Babicë e Vogël, at which time a police patrol with a motorcycle was placed in pursuit of it.

Due to the difficult terrain, distance was created and the perpetrators were able to leave by abandoning the vehicle in the hills between the villages of Babicë e Vogël, Bunavi and Çeprat, in a place located below the antennas of the mobile phone companies.
