Prime Minister Edi Rama stated tonight that he is dissatisfied with some phenomena of the tourist season,

"Why should I be dissatisfied with the tourist season? I am dissatisfied with some phenomena of the tourist season, but I am not dissatisfied with the inflows ," said Rama, continuing to mention figures from the hotel and airport industry, which for him have been satisfactory.

The main problem, the prime minister admits, is the service-price ratio and at this point he did not hesitate to criticize the entrepreneurs for the lack of a business plan.

Edi Rama : The first is the stupidity of some, I'm not saying how many there are, in the south there are many who have invested in restaurants and have thrown everything they have there or a large part of what they have and have not invested for a year that they have built, they have not built a kiosk, they have invested their life's money, what they have done and they behave with their investment as if it were the last day and forget that if they set prices that are prices that do not correspond to the level of service, they will not have more people who will want to go to them next year, they will have fewer and after 2-3 years...

Blendi Fevziu: They will have even less and will go bankrupt.

Edi Rama: No, after 3 years they will cry. While they have to work with a plan, they have to have a business plan to grow it, they have to understand sometimes that they are not themselves, they are in competition with those in front of them, it is great competition, they do not see them from the other side of the street but they have to have them in mind and they have to think, they have to study the prices and they have to do it not for me, nor for you. You are a person who fortunately we do not agree on anything together, but on tourism, the beauty of Albania we agree, on Urban Renaissance you like it, but you do not say it, but at the end of the day you are a person who says this because you have a concern as an observer of this life.

Blendi Fevziu : I feel ashamed when a foreigner comes and tells me the price here is too expensive and the service is bad.

Edi Rama : I say this as Prime Minister, but those who listen to us should not think about who you are and who I am. They should think about what they want to do with that investment after 5, 10 years. Do they want that investment to go bankrupt? They have built hotels, they have built restaurants, resorts, a large part of them because I know some, they have their children, who have also been educated abroad. What do they want? Do they want to leave ruins for their children so that no one will go?

While citing examples such as Italy, Croatia and Bulgaria, Rama said that businesses must plan for the future to survive competition.

Edi Rama: I would like these very hardworking, very courageous people, who have taken risks, have had adventures, have invested money, stay there, to understand that they need to make a plan, just as they planned to build the hotel and succeeded, they need to make a plan for this hotel to survive this competition.
