Singer Luiz Ejlli has appealed the decision of the First Instance Court in Fier, which sentenced him to 1 year in prison for the felony offense of Forgery of Documents.

The case against him has already been registered with the Court of Appeals with general jurisdiction, and its hearing has been scheduled for April 29.

It turns out that citizen Fatmir Avdurramani was also involved, for which the black squads sentenced him to 18 months in prison.

According to the prosecution, Luiz Ejlli, in his capacity as a notary, falsified the notarial statement that the defendant Fatmir Avdurramani used in the prosecution to justify the source of his assets, seized as part of the investigations of property proceedings no. 3 of 2021, of the former Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Lushnje.

The notarial statement drafted by the defendant Luiz Ejlli was forged in its content, but bore the latter's signature.
