Details emerge from the SPAK action regarding sisters Xhovana and Alda Nikolli, on the morning of March 28 in Elbasan.
Police sources said that the Special Court had ordered a search of their apartment and their parents' house in the city of Elbasan, as well as the seizure of their mobile phones. The searches were carried out because a quantity of TNT exploded in the door of the apartment where the Nikolli sisters lived 9 months ago, killing their neighbor Enea Thomaraj, a person with no criminal record.
News24 has learned details of the operation, which began in the early hours of the morning, when the special operations team began monitoring the two sisters and their father. As they climbed into a BMW x1 vehicle driven by their father, it is learned that police forces blocked their path and informed them that there was a court order against them to search their homes.
Sources said that Xhovana and Alda Nikolli and their father had their cell phones confiscated. They were then escorted to their respective homes where a search was conducted. The same sources confirmed that during the search, the Nikolli sisters made accusations against the convicted murderer, Nuredin Dumani, accusing him of ordering the incident.
SPAK has strong suspicions that Xhovana Nikolli, the fiancée of the repentant justice official, Amarildo Nikolli, and her sister Alda, who was in a relationship with Nuredin Dumani, are aware of who the person who placed the TNT on the door of their apartment is, as well as the name of the person who ordered it.
The explosion on the 4th floor of the building in the 'Haxhias' neighborhood of Elbasan where the Nikolli sisters lived occurred on July 14, 2024. The explosion caused the Thomaraj family's door to collapse, leaving the eldest son Enean injured, who died after 4 months in the Trauma Hospital.
