In his speech to Albanians in Athens, Prime Minister Edi Rama also spoke about justice reform.
Emphasizing the SP's support for SPAK or GJKKO, he said that the opposition's goal has been and remains the same, the merger of these institutions.
"All these people with the owl at their head, even my love Lulin, were sworn enemies of justice reform, they didn't want to vote for anything and we all locked ourselves in the tent and threatened that they didn't even want to enter the elections. Today, their only, desperate, miserable hope is that SPAK will destroy the PS and finally their day will come! Meanwhile, what they don't understand, along with those little carpet sellers who are all tools because their faces and their age are new, is that they even included fathers, father-in-laws and aunts on the lists. We are not in a job, we are in a mission, to make Albania part of the European family once and for all," said Rama.
He described the head of the Special Anti-Corruption Structure, Altin Dumani, as an honest and fair man. However, according to him, before the Socialists came to power, he did not have "a sword in his hand."
"The sword was held by those who were in the prime minister's office, the owl that used it to put Fatos Nano in prison," said the head of government.
Rama also made fun of the small parties: " What they don't understand, along with the small carpet sellers, who are all tools and who only have their faces and ages as new. You saw them, they even put fathers, father-in-laws and aunts on the lists. They don't understand one thing that we are not in a job, but in a mission: to make Albania part of the European family once and for all. We know very well that to do this, equality of law is a condition, just as we may not be very smart, but I don't believe that anyone would take us for fools enough to enter the sea on foot and not know that by handing over the sword, we did not foresee that that sword would also fall on our heads, some of us. We knew this. We have not regretted this, but we are proud of this."
